Cambridge Connection Social Studies

Cambridge Connection: Social Studies for ICSE Schools is a series of books for classes 3 to 5, designed as per the Social Studies curriculum prescribed by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE). The second edition of this series aims to instil skills, values, and dispositions that support the vision of the National Education Policy 2020. The series gives a basic introduction of History, Geography and Civics to prepare the learners for the middle school years where these subjects would be an important component of the curriculum. In keeping with the recommendations proposed in the National Education Policy 2020 guidelines, the series aims to lay the foundation for a holistic education, enabled by critical thinking, inquiry, discovery, innovation, discussion and analysis-based teaching and learning methods.
